Refund Policy
This Refund Policy covers CF Guard Desk subscription purchases and explains how cancellation, billing-cycle handling, and refund review are treated.
1. Scope
This policy applies to paid CF Guard Desk subscriptions purchased through the authorized Lemon Squeezy checkout flow.
2. Trial-first model
Every desktop build includes a 7-day free trial before a paid subscription is required.
The trial exists so buyers can validate platform compatibility, vault setup, workspace flow, and first-scan behavior before committing to recurring billing.
3. Cancellation
You can cancel a subscription to prevent renewal at the next billing cycle.
Cancellation stops future billing. It does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund for a billing period that has already started.
4. Refund review
greeff.dev may review refund requests in good faith when there is:
- a material product defect
- a billing problem
- a material mismatch between the public product description and the delivered product
5. Proration and billing cycles
Unless required by law or explicitly approved after review, partial-period or prorated refunds are not guaranteed.
The normal expectation is:
- cancel before the next renewal if you do not want the next billing cycle
- request refund review promptly if there is a real product or billing issue
6. What to include in a refund request
A useful refund request should include:
- order or subscription identifier
- product version
- operating system
- the issue encountered
- the documentation route already followed
